Dr. Blome moved to Ohio from Los Angeles, California to establish a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice in July of 1991. His surgical background and training are extraordinary.

Dr. Blome has a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Anatomy and taught on the faculty at Louisiana State University School of Medicine for three years. In addition to having two advanced medical degrees (M.D. & Ph.D.) he is also “Double Boarded” in that he has achieved Board Certification in two surgical specialties:

• PLASTIC & RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY
• OTOLARYNGOLOGY – HEAD & NECK SURGERY

Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Blome was honored by being selected for two Cosmetic Surgery Fellowships in Beverly Hills, California. These two prestigious programs offered advanced training specifically in cosmetic surgery with two world renown plastic surgeons: Richard Ellenbogen, M.D. and Steve Hoefflin, M.D.

Dr. Blome feels that this “extra training” in Cosmetic Surgery afforded him a great advantage in being able to vary techniques when necessary to meet a wide variety of patient needs and goals.
